A photo guide for the booth
How to pick a photo the model can read, what happens when you press the button, and what the number can and can’t tell you.
What the booth sees
The model needs to find a face before it can guess anything. These are the photos it reads best, and the ones that trip it up.
Getting your guess
- Choose a photoA JPG or PNG up to 16 MB from your device.
- Check the previewMake sure your face is clearly visible. The image stays in your browser.
- Press “Guess my age”The estimate prints just below the button. It’s an approximate prediction, not a verified age.
Where your photo goes
Nowhere. It’s analyzed in your browser and isn’t sent to an AgeBooth server. The page does load its analysis code and fonts from third parties, which can see your IP address.
Read the Privacy PolicyWhat the number means
It’s how old a face looks in one photo, judged from visual features. Lighting, image quality and the face detector all move it. It isn’t your real age or a measure of health.
